우리는 세 가지 드레스를 만들었다.
서로 다른 형태와 질감, 각기 다른 방식으로 완성된 세 가지의 드레스. 이번 컬렉션은 우리가 오랫동안 좋아해 온 조금은 엉성하고, 어딘가 균형이 어긋난 형태들에서 시작되었다. 완벽하게 다듬어진 실루엣보다는 조금은 느슨하고, 예상하지 못한 방향으로 흘러가는 형태에 더 오래 시선이 머물렀다.
익숙한 옷의 형태를 빌려오되, 그것을 그대로 재현하는 대신 조금씩 비틀고 덜어내며 우리가 좋아하는 모양을 찾아갔다. 자연스럽게 흘러내리는 선과 의도적으로 남겨둔 여백, 몸 위에서 비로소 완성되는 불완전한 균형. 그 안에서 각자의 개성을 가진 세 가지 드레스가 만들어졌다.
우리가 생각하는 좋은 옷은 특별한 순간을 위해서만 존재하지 않는다. 자주 손이 가고, 오래 곁에 두게 되며, 시간이 지나도 여전히 입고 싶은 옷. 그러면서도 어디선가 한 번쯤 다시 들여다보게 되는 작은 특징을 가진 옷이기를 바란다. 유행이나 특정한 장면에 머무르기보다 입는 사람의 생활 안에서 각자의 방식으로 자리 잡는 것.
이번 컬렉션은 그런 옷들을 모으는 일에 가깝다. 조금은 엉성하고, 어딘가 이상하지만 그래서 더 마음이 가는 형태들. 익숙한 모던함의 뒷면에 숨겨진 낯선 아름다움과 완벽하게 정리되지 않은 실루엣을 좋아하는 마음을 세 가지 드레스에 담았다.
Each with a different shape, texture, and approach to construction. This collection began with forms we have long been drawn to — slightly awkward, somewhat unbalanced, and imperfect in their own way. We found ourselves looking longer at silhouettes that felt loose and unexpected, rather than those that were carefully refined or perfectly composed.
We borrowed from familiar forms of clothing, but instead of recreating them as they were, we gradually twisted and stripped them back, searching for shapes that felt distinctly our own. Lines that fall naturally, spaces left intentionally unfinished, and an imperfect balance that only comes to life on the body. Through this process, three dresses, each with its own character, took shape.
We believe good clothing does not exist solely for special occasions. It should be something you reach for often, keep close for a long time, and still want to wear years later. At the same time, it should hold a small detail that makes you pause and look again. Rather than belonging to a particular trend or moment, we want our clothes to find their own place in the everyday lives of those who wear them.
This collection is, in a way, a gathering of such pieces. Forms that are a little awkward, a little unusual, and all the more appealing because of it. We brought together three dresses that reflect our affection for unfamiliar beauty hidden behind familiar modernity, and for silhouettes that resist the idea of being perfectly resolved.
